Challenger has lived up to our high expectations and not only is a lovely dog to live with but he also thrilled us with his success in the ring. During his show career to date, he has won 34 x 1st prizes and 19 x 2nd prizes at Championship shows alone and is rarely out of the cards. He is only two years old, and we look forward with pleasure to his successes in the future. He has such a placid and loving nature and is very much a mummy's boy

As a puppy, he made a fantastic start to his show career by winning his Junior Warrant at just over 8 months old as a minor puppy. This is a rare accomplishment. He has won many Best Puppy in Breed, a Puppy Group 3 and a Puppy Group 4 at Open Shows. He won Best Puppy in Show at the Midland G.R.C. Open Show. Challenger has been Best Puppy dog in breed at six Championship Shows that year. He has also shown a natural ability in retrieving and has made such good progress in his training this year that he was ready for an introduction to the real thing in the shooting field . He is certainly proving his worth as a member of my picking up team. He is fast, stylish, jumps like a gazelle, has a soft mouth and a good nose. I am delighted with him.
