Born 24 - 9 – 03 Hips 7:5, Eyes Clear.

As a young dog Canoodle was shown and gained 18 points towards her Junior Warrent: but she never really enjoyed the Show ring and was retired from showing in favour of her brother Doodle.
She has produced some wonderful children and excels as a mother, passing on her sound conformation, excellent pigmentation and naughty ways !

Born 29 - 01 – 05 Hips 6:4, Eyes Clear.

Younger sister to Doodle and Canoodle, Cha Cha is the classic mother figure within our family and takes all the younger generation under her loving wing. Very soft and gentle by nature, she is not an extrovert like her older brother Doodle but makes her presence felt in a quieter way. She is producing some lovely off spring.

At her first show, Katie went Best Puppy In Show at the Berkshire Downs & Chiltern Golden Retriever Club Championship Show in November 2007 and continued this success whenever she was shown. Hazel bought Katie primarily to be part of her picking-up team, but she will put in the occassionall appearance in the ring where I am sure she will continue to do us all proud. Catcombe Chicane of Mochatel (center) sired by Ambergold Will Do Nicely - from a repeat mating. Owned by Sally Skinner, Wesley went BIS at the Southern GRC Open Show in 2009 and has won many first prizes at Championship shows . We wish him continued success in the future. Catcombe Cafuffle

Born 15 - 08 - 06 Hips 4:4, Eyes Clear.

Cafuffle was shown on and off as a puppy with some success, and was rarely out of the cards but with Corblimey and Doodle being campaigned in the ring at the same time, she had to give way to the boys. Cafuffle has a most biddable nature and has been so easy to train. She is a natural and loves to retrieve - just about anything if she thinks it will please you!

Catcombe Cherry Tart sired by Amberland Aden we kept from Cafuffle’s first litter.

Born 2 - 2 -09 Hips 5:7, Elbows 0:0, Eyes Clear.

‘Tarty’ at the tender age of 6 months, started her show career by winning Best Puppy in Show at the South Western Golden Retriever Club’s Open Show.
Having won very well at Championship Shows during 2009, including Best Puppy in Breed at LKA, she then excelled herself in the last weekend of her puppy career by winning Best Puppy in Show at Newton Abbott (All breeds) on the Saturday and Reserve Best Puppy in Show at Henley-on-Thames (All breeds) on the Sunday. That was a thrilling weekend!

Having then lost her coat and taken time to grow a new one, Tarty returned to the ring with style and very quickly gained enough points to get her Junior Warrent with time to spare. She has a joyful attitude to life with ever wagging tail and a grin on her face! She is a comic and at times rather naughty

It is hoped that Tarty will have a litter at some stage in 2011

Sh. Ch. Charamese Road Runner to Leighsham x Catcombe Cooee
Born 23 - 10 -08 Hips 6:6, Elbows 0:0, Eyes Clear.

Cheroo was shown in 2009 and gained many places at Championship shows qualifying repeatedly for Crufts. She then lost her coat!
She has a lovely disposition, with a gentle and loving nature, being everybody’s friend.

She will be bred from sometime in the Autumn of 2010

Catcombe Candy Sugar

Ch. Catcombe Cock a Doodle Doo JW x Catcombe Come Uppence
Born 29 - 1 – 09 Hips 6:6, Elbows 0:0, Eyes Clear.

Shown only a few times as a puppy. It is difficult to campaign two bitches of the same age so Candy gave way to Tarty who had started off so well. Still a young girl, Candy still has time on her side.

Candy has shown such promise as a working dog that she will join David's team of dogs for this picking up season. David is delighted with her progress so far

It is hoped that Candy will have a litter at some stage in 2011.
